PROGRAM YEAR’ CALENDAR- Congregational
Church of Union, UCC
NOTE:
This calendar provides an OUTLINE/OVERVIEW and is made available
for people to do some basic planning and organizing. SOME SPECIFIC DATES
ARE STILL TO BE DETERMINED. Specific educational programs, sermons and
sermon series will be announced as the program year unfolds. Some topics
may be determined by events in the world and in our
society........Sermon topics also available upon request..... In
addition, specific YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAMS, including retreats, Youth
Group Advisory Board, etc will be announced separately. Specific dates
are to be determined for CONFIRMATION DAY and CHILDREN’S SUNDAY.
Social events such as concerts/dinners, etc. may be added/dates firmed
up...BUDGET MEETING and FISCAL OVERSIGHT meetings are also TBD. Per
a decision of the Church Committee in 2010, DEACONS and PRUDENTIAL
COMMITTEE will meet monthly on the LAST SUNDAY of the month. Either
group can change that date on certain occasions by mutual agreement.
UPDATED CALENDAR INFORMATION WILL BE EMAILED, POSTED ON WEB SITE,
MADE AVAILABLE IN CHURCH and NOTED ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE. I encourage
members and friends to utilize this calendar as a good guide
to
our upcoming year......and
to stay tuned for adjustments~
